Jo Wouters

Krimson

Jo has been intrigued by Internet Technology since the early 90s. In those days Fidonet was the alternative network for the amateur.

In 1999 he joined with some friends to create an online community for their local municipality. Although the website seldom got more than 100 unique visitors a day, it was an interesting experiment where he learnt how technology is used to bring people together and can facilitate new ways of sharing and communication.

When Jo was asked to create the website for CJP.be, a youth website with thousands of visitors, he wrote his own CMS using the technology he had learnt to love: PHP-scripts and a MySQL-database. In 2004 he discovered a new way to build websites: Drupal.

It was without any remorse that Jo decided to abandon his job as a consultant and technical architect in the insurance and banking industry to work full-time on web projects at Drupal. When he is not debugging a module, watching movies or hiking, Jo can be found on the support forums at Drupal.be and at jwo

Morten Birch Heide-Jørgensen

Geek Röyale

Morten is a markup loving design geek straight outta Copenhagen who loves all finer things in life: Drupal, Rock n Roll, bulldogs, CSS, the GF, XHTML, beer tasting, metal \m/, & nerdy stuff (miniature painting!)

Morten landed his first webgig back in 96 and figured out that the future would not be as a rock star, but as a geek - so groupies were xchanged for a pair of glasses, and long nights behind the screen. Morten's been involved with the D. since 4.7 - and still loves it, even that he whines abit about the lack of designers in the D. Somehow he's got a reputation of always finding good bars around the world!

Runs the webshop: Geek Royale that's specialized in theming and frontend sweetness. Morten lives in his castle in Copenhagen with his Queen kristine, a lazy cat and the English bulldog Otto.
